I am so angry to think of a yorkie spending his time outside! What is wrong with people? Thank goodness he is now with you and he must be so happy with his new life! Best wishes! I am so glad you saved him from such a sad life! Oh...by the way...Welcome to YT!!!

That is so great that you took him in. and it makes me so upset that he had been kept out side. If he is three years old and his hair has not been cut, then I doubt if his coat gets very long, but I do agree with the others to get a good vitamin and shampoo that will help make it a nice looking healthy coat. Not all Yorkies have long coats. My males coat is short and My females is very long, But either way, I love the looks of both.

Welcome to YorkieTalk to you and Ozzy! You have gotten lots of excellent advice. Bless you for taking him into your home. I agree that diet is just as essential as hair products for a healthy coat. I supplement Bo's food with 1/4 tsp ground flax seed a day.

How often do you feed your yorkie?

Have you ever left him in the house unattended?
