| What can I do? Im getting really frustrated. Since I have had Tess, I am not able to shower Chloe with the attention she was used to (which was ALOT) and by no means is Chloe being neglected, I can assure you this. I still hold her plenty and love on her plenty and she sleeps with me and sits on or near me for most of the day, but this is not enough and she is constantly acting out. Chloe likes Tess so I have no jealously problems there, thank goodness. BUt Chloe is upset about sharing me. She keeps pooping and peeing in the house. Its very deliberate because she always does it after Ive let them outside to potty. She also keeps tearing up stuff and she will even do it right in front of me. And she keeps getting into trash or plastic bags, or papers. Penny is Chloe's accomplice when it comes to getting into trash. In attempt to keep part of the house off limits and keep things organzied and clean I have baby gates and I keep doors shuts and I even hide my guest bathrooom trash in the actual bath tub becasue this was the only way to keep Penny from getting to it. But none of this works very well because Penny has figured out how to open doors using her nose and she can also open baby gates AND now Penny can apparently reach the trash in the bath tub I'm really sick this week and I left the house for 20 minutes today to pick up a prescription and I came hom to tissue being shreaded everwhere and they ate the bathroom trash. Chloe of course had evidence on her face. Chloe had also pee'd on the bathroom floor. Im getting really tired of this. What can I do? This is all my fault for spoiling her isnt it?

Donating YT 2000 Club Member | I don't have good news for you....When my son was born, our yorkie "Bandit" was 5 years old....He would pee on the crib leg, shred anything & he had never done this before. We had to start pinning him up for the 1st time in 5 years. By the time my son was crawling, he would grab ahold of Bandit's hair & not let go. Bandit starting growling at him because it hurt, I'm sure. We ended up giving him to an older couple whose husband went blind & wanted a little lap dog. Hope your situation works out better than ours!

| I feel for you Shana. My daughter went threw the same thing with her MinPin, Epcot when my first granddaughter was born. Epcot was so spoiled but that's all they had. When the baby came he acted out terribly. He was good with the baby but put my daughter threw the mill. She continued to give him love, play with him and he slept with them but that wasn't enough for him. He would go into the baby's room and pull all the diapers, undershirts, nighties etc out of the basket's under the changing table. Poop and pee in the guest room, never had he done that before. He chewed up so many socks, binks and toys she was in tears most of the time. Would bark at nothing when the baby was napping. Epcot went to live with his other grandparents. She was going to have a breakdown if she did not let him go. I hope you can work it out. Don't mean to sound negative but this is what she went threw. He was a little devil for sure but we still love him to death. He's 9 now and finally mellowed. |

I just hope Chloe is only going through a phase and that she ends it soon and that she will be my perfect little angel again (one can be hopeful)

Donating YT 2000 Club Member | It was a truly sad time, but I had to do what was best for my baby & Bandit. By the time my son was 3 years old we got a new yorkie puppy & they grew up together-totally best buds!!!! I just think our 1st one was too old to deal with a baby & we tried, really we did...I loved that little dog!

| OH no Shana....I am so sorry to hear this. Have you tried crating them while you leave or during certain times in the day when you can not watch them. I know you love those babies more than anything. HUGS and will be saying a prayer for you!

| oh goodness Shana,, i feel for ya,,,sounds as if a large crate will be in order,, ya know,,, the large wire crates,, that way they've unable to get into trouble when you are gone or busy with the baby at times,, plus give them a Safe Place for when Tess begins to take off after THEM. I feel for ya,, but when my kids were young,, we never had INSIDE dogs,, I'd have been terrified of a Yorkie with babys, afraid of them falling on the Yorkie,,etc..well that plus the fact i wouldn't spend the $$ for a Yorkie when my kids were little! lol but the reason i waited 30 yrs!! babies first,, doggies after,, Hope it all works out for ya there!!

| Crating would be a great idea. Im home all day, the only time I leave is for about 30 minutes to go to the post office so crating them should be an easy solution and its not like they would be in it for long. Penny is hard to crate becasue she is so big but Penny is usually a good girl if she doesnt have Chloe to intice her into trouble. Thanks for the suggestion, I cant believe I didnt think to do that, lol

| It isn't your fault. She is just one of those little ones that are "needy". Is it possible you could get someone to take her on one or two really long walks each day? She needs some distraction and to have something else to focus on. |

| I just want to tell you that i experienced this with my first maltese when i had my first child. She literally jumped up into the recliner on my lap when i was feeding my son to POOP ON ME! She attempted to do this several times. And she peed in the house and tore things up for months. BUT it got better with time and also as my son got older she realized he was a mini food dispenser and decided it was a good thing to have him around. It will be ok, hang in there, i know it is stressful. I think it's a good idea to start crating too. I'm sure you know this already but when tess starts crawling and getting into things, for chloe's protection there will be times the dogs will be better off crated for a bit during the day. | I don't believe you will need to do anything drastic like rehoming a dog but I KNOW how bad yorkies can be. There's always a solution ( like the crating idea) or even limiting them to a smaller area like an x-pen if you are busy. Just keep giving her as much love as you have time for and she will eventually learn that this is how it is going to be. Don't worry, I know it will all work out for you. |

| Shana I am sorry that you are going thru this. I had a pekapoo at one time when Brian was just a baby. Missy would chew on the trash when we left her because she was mad at us and she never got over it. Since Gracie is so in love with Chloe, I'm sure we can help you out
