| They breed only 3 times that i was aware of. The babies were due (due date 63 days) on Saturday and were born Friday morning between 12:30 and 1:00 a.m. I am not sure if I wil let her have another litter or not. Leaning towards not right now. Just still heartbroken over the baby girl. The little boys (2) are doing great and growing. Bonding with mom and she is taking great care of them. The little girl was the first born and I thought she was fine. The last born was the one I had concerns about. Boy was I wrong. I took them to the vet yesterday to cut their tails and remove dew claws. One weighed 8 0z and the other 7 oz. So both are gaining weight and growing. |

| I'm so sorry for your loss. It is obvious that you loved them and did everything you could. Sometimes that is just not enough and nature takes it's course. Remind yourself that they knew love and gentle kindness in their short lives and they were lucky that you were there for them. Now, enjoy that little girl and give mom extra kisses. You are in my thoughts

Take some time and grieve for your loss and then start to research and learn for the next time. Bless you and your little one that has crossed the Rainbow Bridge. They have so much company there.. | |

| loss Sorry to hear about the babies...happy to hear about the thriving two. You did nothing wrong. Three breedings is quite exceptable. You can breed only once and get tinies who fade and die. You might want to learn to tube feed. It is the surest way to save a healthy tiny who is not nursing well..nothing will save all, but some can be saved from time to time. It is of little comfort, but I rather see them go early then hold on for a couple weeks then die. Nothing worse then getting them to live for 8 or 10 weeks then having them die..I hate that. |
