| I'm getting my boy neutered soon. He hasn't started lifting his leg yet so maybe he won't.

My JPop is 20 months, and not neutered. For some reason, hubby hasn't wanted to, but I keep stressing the health issue. Have I waited too long? | |

| Do not wait till 12 months old or you might just as well leave things alone.. once he starts to lift his leg you will have that problem forEVER~~! Do it now and use squirt bottle and new paper slap it on your hand when you see him going to do something you don't like.. then say no loudly.. and do the same with squirt bottle... You can break the habit now before it's too installed.. Good luck I have 3 males studs...my old stud who is neutered never did lift leg in house but I was on his case as a pup and he was very sweet and hurt feelings by just say NO... Some are HOPELESS lifters.. Ha!!! But we love them ALL .. If you have dogs this is one of many things they do.. Rosie |

| I just got Max neutered in June and am SO glad I did it!! He was always such a sweet nice baby, then at about 9mo of age he started getting agresive towards stranger dogs and would bark or try to intimidate them, he marked all over outside and on occasion inside. About 1 week after being neutered I noticed a change in him, he has mellowed out and now on our walks he could care less about the stranger dog passing us by. He never marks inside and harldy ever on walks. It used to be that when we'd go on a walk he would mark about 20 times, now he wont even try to mark he just sniffs the areas he used to then keeps on walking.
