| I love Yorkietalk because this is my nightly treat. I get my mommy time on YT each night and it really is something to look forward to. I couldn't count how many days I use to be so down in the dumps and I would come on here and my mood would just change. There are so many caring people on here. In all the bad we here in the world it's nice to see that people do really care.

| I love YT because it saved Brooke's life! I love YT because it saved Brooke's life! I joined in July of 07 and my Brooke had just been diagnosed with GME, Granulomatous Meningioencephalitis, a rare immune related brain disease that is fatal. I started my first post by asking if anyone else had experience with this disease. Divapup posted a reply asking if I had been to the GMEDogs Yahoo group, and I had never even heard of such a thing and no internet search had ever come up for it. I joined that group and learned about a neurologist in Boston that had a 90% success rate in curing GME, I contacted him right away and the rest is history. Brooke, so far, knock on wood, is in remission and she has a 60-70% chance of never having a GME relapse in the future! I it hadn't been for this group, I would have never found out about Dr. Sisson and Brooke would have died!! I will be forever grateful!

| I Love YorkieTalk Because..... Because....since my closed head injury 9 years ago I don't do well in social situations. Most of my old friends have moved on because of the way I am now. I do not communicate well verbally and because of the meds that I rely on to function on a daily basis to control my brain function, I don't always say the correct thing. YT has given me a way to communicate with others in a new and exciting way. I can express myself better through typing thoughts than verbally. The only thing that got me through the first 5 or 6 years was having my dogs. My job was taking care of them and learning about them. Thanks to the people here I have learned so much more than I ever would have from reading books. Now I'm having other health problems that make it difficult for me to travel for long periods (we had to cancel KC because of it) & I'm trying not to let it get me down. Oh well, just more time to be spent here, I guess. Most of the time I lurk & just read threads, not knowing if my input would help the person or not...or just hoping that if my response was helpful someone would comment and say so. I have also learned so much about faith and the power of prayer. I truly believe that there is pure good in so many focusing positive thoughts at one time for one individual. There are many of you that I consider friends & several of you are my daughter's in my heart. Thank You, Cindy, for this thread, it could not have come on a better day. It is here that I choose to celebrate my 2000 post, never thought I would get this far!

| I Love Yorkietalk because after my loss of Grizzley Bear I came across it when I was googling pictures of yorkies. I was so sad and was lost without my little guy. I started reading all the sick and injured posts. Looked at as many pictures and videos I could. I was so attracted to the way everybody loved their babies and the upmost care they give them. Then I went to the fallen yorkie area and posted my story. The responses I received helped me to start the recovery process and I knew I was blessed for finding this site. It is a hard road to travel when you lose a pet but when you have a group like this that you can hang with and be so fortunate for them to share their babies with you. That in itself is a blessing. I just wish that I could just hug all of you and pat your babies on the head because for me it's all about the babies. I adore them all. They make my day. Thanks to all of you for sharing them!

| Adding to my list of reasons l LOVE YORKIETALK BECAUSE..... of all the people who have posted in this thread - it's the people who make this site so fantastic..... it has been a lifeline to so many people, including me while I was recovering from a serious accident and spent 6 weeks in bed with my leg elevated because the Admins and Moderators are fair and unbiased I have the "whole world" at my disposal to brag about my babies, to share funny stories and tragedies and to call upon during times of need. to be continued....... |

| I love Yorkietalk because.... ... I love my dogs. With my whole heart and soul. They are my world. Noone who knows me truely knows how I feel about them. Except everyone here. Whether they make me laugh, scare me or make me cry, I know that I can come here for sound advice, to be told Im not 'losing it and they just dogs' and it feels good to have a community of people who understand that pure simple joy of loving your pet so unconditionally.

| I love YT because, after surfing the net, I finally found a site that has everything I could ever want to know about Yorkies. The people here are wonderful and very thoughtful of others, something you just don't find very often anymore. Being in the "waiting room" while pups were coming was so exciting, just like being there. Thanks YT members, for being you!!!

Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | Quote:
I love YT cause I've met some of the best people here both online AND in person....and I'll never ever forget the support last year when my husband died...not to mention 3 beautiful ladies in Michigan who came to his funeral/house afterwards......the pm's the emails, the calls - and just in general ....the support... is something I just will never forget for the rest of my life. the other reasons I love Yt is I used to get ALL my goofiness out with my cartoons and Spy girl stories - I really enjoyed the feedback. Now that I work fulltime I never seem to have the time to do stuff like that but my girls are STILL spying - even if it is only on my car now on - and my girls are some of the best dressed little dogs in my area thanks to YT talented members - Thank you to everyone and Rock on !
