Therapy Dog Donating Member | Pee Accidents..Bissell SpotBot or Green Machine??? OK - every once and a while Izzy has an accident....hahaha..as much as I would think she is perfect.....she does have that occasional accident. I have a large at-home carpet steam cleaner but tired of lugging that thing upstairs for those once-in-a-while accidents. I was thinking of asking for my birthday one of these Bissell spot steam cleaners but don't know which one to get. Which one is better? The Little Green Machine is $40 less than the Spotbot so what's the difference?? I know..I know..sad that I'm asking for a spot cleaner instead of a really cool spa day.

| We had the green machine and switched to a spot bot. I love, love, love it! No more scrubbing the carpet on my hands and knees, even with the green machine. I used to envy people who had hardwood floors or tile. But now I just switch on my spot bot.

| I've never heard of this... so i looked online...what's the difference between the regular spotbot and the pet one? They want $10 more for the pet one. Is it because it comes with solution or something? I want one! deb |

| I have a mini bissell upright. My mom has the big machine and it is HUGE. This one is tiny (it only has like a 6 inch path) It holds just enough water and solution to get a spot out. Ours got a workout when Loki was a puppy and it even gets out puke stains. We ripped our carpet out downstairs last summer and even on the backside there were no stains. We always got the spots right away and that thing worked great!

I will say that the solutions are expensive. We use the Oxy-clean solution for bad stains (diarhea, vomit) . and use the Pet Odor solution for anything else (blood spots from female heat or pee stains from my little man -- that bad little boy). I haven't heard of the "pet" model. Don't know the difference.

| Spotbot When Sage started her heat, she ran into our hall way and a pottied big & I mean big spot of pee and blood on our Whitish/tan carpet and I grabbed the spot bot and used it with that pet cleaner at walmart and it was all gone. Pee stain up and blood too. Just set it on set in stain and walked away...I love how it beeps and lets U know when it's done..Hands free! We even had one of our Speck Homes we was building broken into and the theives left mud and grease all over light really light tan carpet, no problem, spotbot brought it every bit out. I tell U it's worth every single dime. I'll never own another cleaner. I use it in our car/trucks too. Hope this helps U. |
