| ![]() I want to thank each of U for praying for Jack. My Mother & Sister took Jack food Sat. they took green beans, tomatoes, corn on the cob & home made veggie soup that mom makes ahead and freezes. Mom said he look so peiked and pale & that there was another man there that had oxygen on, she said he was very, very kind and they did have a nice place to live. She even prayed with them. As I said before they did have a Schnauzer & I told my Mom about this offer of this Yorkie she said now Lee I'd be careful taking a Yorkie in there and giving it to him, I said why? She said that Schnauzer just about ate them up when they came in the door that she had to take it to the bedroom. Well that got me to wondering and I sure didn't want to give him a Yorkie and it be hurt by the other dog. So I called Jack today as he had a gracious offer from some one here (U know who U are and thank U so very much from the bottom of my heart) and spoke to his (Girlfriend ?? She said they wasn't married, lived together 5 years) I never had spoke to her. Well I didn't want to be to nosey. I ask if their dog was neutered and she said no, I said well if a neutered male Yorkie was to come there to live do U think he could get along with it. She said she didn't know, that she had his brother too and had to give him away cause the fought to much. I told her about this Yorkie and she more less said Jack had his heart set on a Female Yorkie. Now I honestly don't know why he wants a female Yorkie so bad but I feel we may need to pass on getting him a Yorkie for now, for I don't want to do more harm then good, if that makes any sense. She also said that Jack had terminal cancer & that they had to pay $5000.00 a month for his meds and that they had to come up with a $1000.00 a month that is what his insurance (Insurance paid $4000.00) didn't cover (They pay $1000.00). So then again I have to wonder if they could afford the care for another dog. She also said she worked part time and Jack paid her to live there with her in her trailer. (Don't understand that, but that's none of my business) I ask if the other man was her brother (Trying not to be nosey) and she said no a friend that moved up here from FL. & she did say she was going to put her trailer up for sale and move out of State. I did ask her if she had tried that PPA (They help people that is sick to get meds) and she said yes. So I think I'll just call every now and then and see how they are & keep praying for Jack. I know it won't be long before Dad has fresh veggies so Mom will take them some. I did tell her that if they needed anything what so ever to call me day or night. I don't know if I'm doing the right thing about not trying to find him a Yokie or not but my heart says hold off and I have to follow my heart. Now if he was to find one himself then that would be different. I don't know I just had the feeling to not get to involved in the Yorkie giving at least not yet. So please keep Jack in U're prayers and this other man too I don't know his name & ask God to do the right thing with him getting a Yorkie. |

| ![]() What an awesome thing for you, your family and the YT member to do for Jack. I agree with holding off for now. I pray that somehow things work out and he is able to have his little yorkie girl sitting on his lap before his time is up. God Bless.

| ![]() I was wondering how they were going to feed a yorkie when they couldnt barely feed themselves. Totally agree with not helping with the yorkie. I understand that he is terminal and that is sad, but would worry about the dog, esp. since their male isnt neutered, probably cant afford to have him neutered and would worry what would happen to the yorkie after he passes. I really did like when somebody suggested a visit from a yorkie, that was a great idea! I am very touched by your compassion and concern for this person, you have probably done more for him than you even know!

| ![]() I have 5 Yorkies but I'm scared to take them to his house the way my Mom said their dog acted. I don't know if I should or not. I mean I couldn't take Galahad he's such a hateful butt and he'd fight the biggest dog around, Sofie would be a good one to take, she is one to sit on U're lap. But I don't want my babies scared to death over their dog U know what I mean? She said she takes her dog to the nursing home to visit with them. I don't know what to do. Just keep praying for Jack. God will do what needs to be done with him and a Yorkie. Thanks for all U're prayers for Jack, he does have a battle to fight ![]() |
