CERTIFIED does not mean the money is there. I work for a bank and certified checks can be counterfeited. We always put a hold on them and almost every overseas check has not been good.

Don't do it!!! I had people wanting to buy up whole litters from me, "doctors" working overseas looking for AKC pups for friends and willing to pay w/ "certified checks", and other weirdos calling! It is crazy how these people just sit there waiting for their chance to strike. We are lucky to have this forum to ask for advice. So many of us have been there done that and can help with questions like these. Good luck!

Thanks Again, Gosh , I wish I never posted that ad in Petsell.com Thats were all these people are finding that ad. but then again I have been contacted by someone from Yorkietalk, which turned out to be a dead end. and another person who contacted me through petfind, which has also turned out at a dead end. I know I'll find great homes for my boys, I'll just put them in the local paper.

I say go with your gut! You sound hesitant about the whole thing and I would be too. I would rather meet the potential parents and their family, possibly even visit their home just to make sure that you are content with handing one of your babies over to them. I can't see how people would think a good person would just sent one of the pups across country without knowing anything about the new owners other than what they "claim" in e-mails!!! Unless, of course the seller was only in it for money. Be very cautious! If it were me, I woudn't do it.

I have written back to all of the emails and told them that the puppies have been sold. But some of them, keep writting back telling me that the puppy is for a good, rich home. (yeah right!) I even received an email from another person who is selling his puppies and also receieved a bunch of emails with the same crap..
SO OWNERS BEWARE... LEARN FROM MY MISTAKES..
