| He looks like a black and gold to me..just like my Deucy. I'm betting he will stay black and gold....like my Deucy. Deucy has a cotton coat which is REALLY thick and hair grows FAST. I keep him trimmed up each week at bath time. The hair covers his pads so quickly and if I don't keep it cut away from his pads it will completely COVER his little paw pads..then of course, he has no traction to run and stop! LOL He is SO patient as I started doing this with him when he was tiny. It takes about an hour a week. I'll post some new pics of him soon. He is now 2.5 yrs. old and 4.5 #. Quote:

| I used to add oils to his food...just drizzled it over. A dog formula. Anyway, I now feed hima holistic dog food that has the oils in it. HIs coat has turned from dull to shiny When I began the oils . The new dog food is keeping it up. His hair is very fine I full and extremely soft. He is only 16 weeks in photo here. he is 11 mos now.

| I don't think her coat is terribly short for a six-month-old. My Matty is that age and she is still very, very dark. Some lines take longer to break than others. Personally, I like them to mature later rather than earlier. She's still a baby (a very cute baby) and she looks good to me!
