He looks like a black and gold to me..just like my Deucy. I'm betting he will stay black and gold....like my Deucy. Deucy has a cotton coat which is REALLY thick and hair grows FAST. I keep him trimmed up each week at bath time. The hair covers his pads so quickly and if I don't keep it cut away from his pads it will completely COVER his little paw pads..then of course, he has no traction to run and stop! LOL He is SO patient as I started doing this with him when he was tiny. It takes about an hour a week. I'll post some new pics of him soon. He is now 2.5 yrs. old and 4.5 #.

Chewy's hair has always grown pretty fast! He had his full adult hair in at 6 months.
Sadie is still all black on her back (No GREY ) and just some grey on her top of her head. Maybe she will stay black? Her parents were both rather light.
Her hair is also very think... Any one have any ideas n the kind of adult coat she may have?  |
