| should we cut the top knot???? who here does not keep their babies hair long enough for a top knot??? Maggies hair is driving me completely crazy and I have thought a hundred times about cutting it off. She is in a very short puppy cut right now, but still has the long top knot. I just don't know what to do. I want to grow her hair back out...but right now, with the rest of it being so short and her having a long top knot that she will NOT keep in....I'm tempted. do any of you have pictures?????

Donating YT 1000 Club Member | I keep Chelsey long but our little one Kayla chewed the rubber band and hair right off one day. So Chelsey has the long hair with no top knot. I'm going to grow it back but she looks cute without it.

| Autumn does not have a top knot (even though I would like her to) I tried in the beginning but she would rub her head on the floor until she was able to get out whatever was in her head. I was to worried that she would eat the pony (because she has tried) and it just was not worth the headache, heartache and vet bill had that happened. I still think she looks cute anyway! I just wish she wasn't such a tomboy!

| Jewels has long hair but the topknot is short. I just had this done when she recently went to the groomers. I didnt put her hair up n a topknot every day and hated looking at her hair in her face. I like being able to see her eyes and plan to keep it cut

| LOL...I am letting the rest of her hair grow. but this top knot business is making me insane!!!!!!!! if it keeps up, it is going to end up breaking off. she rubs it on the floor, rubs it with her paws....5 minutes after putting it up, she has it all matted up and half the hair hanging out of it. she's a BRAT!!! lol

| Awww but Mandee she's so cute when she's messy! Even though Jamie's a boy, when I tried to cut his hair and keep it shorter without the "topknot" his hair was constantly flopped over in his face. He looked like one of those EMO kids with bangs that cover their eyes. So now he has this short little spikey ponytail. http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/att...0&d=1204126157 I think if you cut it, it may drive you MORE crazy than it already does.

and I think you are right. I am sure I would regret cutting it. her hair does fall forward instead of back so it would probably not be any better if I cut it.

| Mandee just a thought.. look at the Boys.. Alot have no top knot but most of the Girls do. I think you would really regret it. Maybe get some top knot Gel. or not make the top knot to tight.. they tend to mess with them more if it is really tight. |
