my lil guy is about 9 weeks old and he chews on me non stop..but trying to give him a chew toy when he starts so he does not do this when older..... i'm not sure if I'm losing hte battle or winning yet. heeheh

ha ha ha! When we had to rehome Tucker, my niece, Donna took him. She has two dogs and when they misbehave she puts them in "time out". They will literally sit there in the corner and wait until she says they can move! Tucker was not fully housebroken when she got him. I don't know how she did it but she got him completely trained! When we were able to get him back, he was a different dog. At first I think he was on his best behavior because he didn't want to get sent back to Donna's boot camp. And then he realized how happy it makes me when he's a good boy, and he gets more freedom too. Now, he's just so good I can't believe it! So, Lexi Rae may do good at boot camp!

ps the ONLY time Tucker ever growled over something he had was these treats that were new. I threw them out and he never got them again.

Chip bit me one time. You know those cat toys that the ball goes around in a circle and there is a cardboard scratching post in the middle? Well he figured out how to get the ball out and darted towards the underneath of the couch with it. The toy wasn't his, so I didn't want to lose the ball under there so I grabbed him and I could see the look in his eye. I put him on his back and grabbed for the ball in his mouth to prove a point. He bit me and as soon as he did he got the look of "UH OH I'M IN TROUBLE NOW". I, of course yelled at him and took him up to our room. He was extra sweet to me after I let him out again.
