I was upset by a post that was on here this morning and it got removed along with my own. I am sorry I was out of line, this person was being really mean about the pet store thing and I guess I got kinda mean back.

Any way, I would love to see pics of every ones pet store pups!!!! Here is my Chewy. How could you not love this face!

Are you sure Tobey is a Silky? There's some really big teapot yorkies out there including my Naboo. Naboo looks about the same size as Tobey and have the same nose. I always wondered if she was a Silky but I met her parents and litter mates from the breeder and she's a yorkie. Although no DNA has ever proved this.

Your Chewy is adorable!!! IMO, even though we know better, it is our caring, loving instinct to want to take that pet-store puppy out of its confining space and give it a forever home. Wish I knew how to post pics, I'd put my 1 1/2 yr. old pet-store-bought Chipper on YT. So far he is very healthy, knock on wood. The OP hasn't been back on, has she?

Tobey is beautiful! Silky....Yorkie....they look so similar to me. Both adorable and loveable.

I haven't seen the op on since the first post! I did PM her and told her not to bother about the mean post she got. But she may have seen it and decided not to come back. No one has the right to be out right mean and scare people away like that. It's so unfair of them to do that.

Everybody always assume he is a yorkie but I have to tell them he is a silky. His papers say he is a silky and I look at several pics and read books on silkies and he is definitely one. I guess maybe the yorkie trait just comes out...

I was thinking about doing the same thing, she came looking for help. Maybe she just hasn't had the chance to come back on. What happen was uncalled for.

And BTW the OP has not been back.... probably got scared off by the rude posts, and I don't blame her.. I probably wouldn't have come back if I got my head taken off like that either!! I'm really bummed, I hope she comes back cause the rudeness I saw on here yesterday rarely happens, everyone here is generally SO nice!! I was really shocked and upset by it...

I agree with you melanie - except the part of the rudeness rarely happening. It's been going on a lot here lately. Not sure why, but I'm with you, it makes me sad for those that are truly looking for some valuable advice.

As long as there are people that think like this Puppymills will continue to stay in business. Once is a mistake, twice is questionable and any more then that all I can say is shame on you for supporting the inhumane treatment of these poor mother and father dogs who live their entire lives in small cages with no vet care and limited food to eat. As far as who is to say whos right or wrong. Google puppymills and tell me that. I can't say more then this or I'll be in trouble with YT Administration.

As far as the OP not coming back. I think that's a shame because it's one less person we can educate about Puppymills and Pet Stores. Ten years ago before I was educated I bought my first Yorkie from a BYB. I know better now. First reaction for some is to jump and scold best reaction is to educate for that will hopefully prevent.
