Definitely a decision that takes some serious consideration. All of mine get it as we are in rural Michigan. I do request that they not get the cocktail though so we end up going back a few times to be sure they aren't getting too many things at once.

i never give Lepto to my puppies and tell my buyers also not to give it. My vet won't give it either.

I also am in Michigan, city area - but very near the Detroit River as well as several creeks. My vet says there are 6 very active strains of Lepto in our area and although she is very cautious with vaccines (and does give a smaller dose) this is one she recommends. My girls both got it last year without problem - BUT they get each vaccine individually, never anything combined, and I pay extra for my vet to give it to them.

We are approaching that time again, and I will definitely be discussing NOT giving it to them since they had it last year, but we'll see how it goes.
