Full Grown? When do yorkies hit full grown size? Around what age? Is it closer to 1 year or after or before? Does anyone have any knowledge of that? Thanks for whoever can answer that for me. God bless, Heather

Depends on the yorkie really, some of the smaller ones stop growing at quite an early age but generally I'd say that at 9 months they are nearly done although (as in Gypsy Rose's case) if they are spayed they can FILL OUT a lot! Gizzie is 6 months and at 3 lbs I don't think she will grow much more but I could be wrong!!

It can vary any where from 6 months to a little over a year, depending on the line your dogs are from. Usually the 6-9 month range is the norm, but there have been some that have continued to grow up until about 14 months. Tines are usually done growing by 6 months, the norm of 5-7 pounders are about 9 months and the larger pet dogs that are bred can grow over a year.
