Luvs Lulu Donating Member | Hope you told her off. She could have cut the knot out or put conditioner an slowly detangle it. Man I would be pissed. I think each dog's hair grows at a different rate depending on them and their coat type. Sending you a hug..I am sure you need one now.

Donating YT 30K Club Member | That would make me so mad. I have taken Cali in with bad matting after her spay and recently from all her scratching and the groomer thinned her out and worked on all the mats and didn't shave her at all. It will grow back pretty quickly at least to blend in more.

| I really think they don't want to take the time to remove the tangles. With a good detangler and brush, those tangles do come out. Very sad that they shaved your pup. I take him to the groomers as little as possible, I trim pads, rear, ears. When I've taken Zander in, I leave written instructions as well as verbal .... and there is always something that they do NOT follow.

I agree. I've had Lucy get pretty tangled from playing outside and my groomer has never had to shave her

| I feel your pain...Zoe was completely shaven to the skin just a few weeks ago..she is constantly shivering and she looks nothing like a yorkie...I hate it and it seems like it hasn't grown at all! I really believe that groomers should have to have a license just like hair dressers! It is horrible!

| First off paying that much for a shave down is insane!!!!!! You my dear was ripped off. Even when you have a dog's coat cut into a specific "style" it's never that much. I would not have paid her at all for doing such a thing if it were me and my dog. The only things I would have given her is a good tongue lashing!!! Your baby's hair will grow back in a few months, so in the meantime just buy yourself a really good clipper and scissors. |

| I would go back and tell them how you feel about the cut, if you don't they will think they did an awesome job. Perhaps they can trim the face to match the body a little better, I have a picture posted of Zanders last cut, perhaps take a look and take the picture with you if you like it, to show the groomer what it is you want. Good luck.
