| Air Travel I would like to both take my yorkie on a plane to see my daughter and/or send her a ticket to come out here with her chihuahua. Does any one have any ideas about which airlines take them and tips for traveling. I know some of the prices are really high and I am trying to keep the cost down (aren't we all). With the gas prices the way they are I was hoping that maybe I could fly for cheaper but do not want to leave the baby's behind. |

| The airlines require the pet to have a health certificate and all there shots. They have to be at least 8 wks old and have a non-collapable crate, with food and water access. The cost is depending on where you are flying and how much your pet's weight. Some airlines allow you to take your puppy on board with you. Try Delta and American Airline. |

| Thanks, I will call them to get costs. I have seen several people fly with their pets and seeing how it is a 3 day drive one way I cannot see any other way. |

| Each individual airlines has their pet requirements on their website. The only airline that will not allow you to fly a pet with you in the cabin is Southwest Airlines that I am aware of.
