| There is a diagram on the Shooters webpage under FAQs that illustrates how to tape the ears. I believe this is the one I followed for Chloe, along with keeping ears trimmed about half way down, front and back, massaging her ears to build up strength and putting dry Carnation milk on her food, since it is a calcium issue. Within a few days her ears came up and never dropped again. At the time I did not know about teething affecting the ears and I don't recall the age of Chloe but it was young, right after I got her, so I'd say about 3 months old. But, as Teri points out on the website, after a week, remove the tape and reapply if needed, do not keep on more than a week. |

| Maybe its a Max thing cuzz my Max's ears are down too! They fell when he started teething and now he's 1 year old and they are still down! Someone told me their yorkies ears went up after he was a year old so I guess there's always hope! |

| One of Brody's ears went floppy the day after we brought him home from the breeder. Our vet told us to massage his ears - I think we did massaged from base to tip. Within a couple of days (could have been weeks), his ear was up again. Something else that we did during this time, although it could be completely unrelated, we put a drop of alcohol in his ears because he had a slight infection. But after we put alcohol in, we would massage it around. So we don't really know what caused the ear to pop up, but we think it was the massaging. However, he was three months old at the time, so I don't know if massaging would work in an older puppy. It might be worth a try though. Taping sounds painful and sad!
