| Louis Dog sizing Does anyone know how their sizes run? Small, short? Bella's chest is 11.5", length 11" so I'm thinking of ordering a small. Here is their sizing chart. Size neck chest length XS 8.4 11.2 8.8 S 9.6 13.2 10 M 11.2 15.2 11.6 L 13.2 17.6 13.6

| I have a couple of Louis Dog dresses, one worn once, one never. The sizing didn't work for Lady. Lady has a 14.5" chest and is 10.5" long. I got a medium, but they run small IMO. They are a bit too short and snug for my taste. A friend with a Yorkie slightly larger than Lady tried a couple Louis Dog in a large and said they were just huge. I don't know if it was just these two dresses, but these are the ones that I have that run small. I love, love the mint one and she's never worn it. I got them from Ritzy Rover and didn't send them back because they charge a restocking fee plus I'd lose the shipping costs. It wasn't worth it. Maybe someday I'll have a dog they fit. |

| Oh those are very cute. I'm thinking of ordering this http://www.pinkhotdog.com/cgi-bin/co...ction&key=DR17. Can't beat some of these prices so I think I'll take a chance. Thanks for the info.

I took a picture of the mint dress so you can see how small a medium is. Lady is shorter than Bella, too, 10" from neck to tail, but I usually add 1/2" to be safe.

| Oh wow! That is really short for a medium. Seems more like a small or extra small. Gosh with this brand you would almost have to order a couple of different sizes, try them all on and send back the ones that don't fit well

My friend with a Yorkie ordered a few larges since Gidget is 12" long and had heard they ran small. She said they were huge on Gidget and knew that if a medium was too small for Lady, that wouldn't work either. She ended up having to take a store credit. It's too bad the sizing is so weird because they make cute things.
