| ![]() WE live in a subdivision with lots of trees so there are LOTS of birds. I have seen them flying around here a lot. We sometimes get an advance warning because all of the birds scatter. This guy was too brave for my comfort. Mike keeps a pellet gun on the back patio ever since we saw him. He doesn't want to shoot him, but tries to scare him away. But he keeps coming back

| ![]() Wow, that is all pretty scary to me. I worry all the time about this problem. I have a friend here in Florida and she lives beside a farm, she does not let her dogs outside. she is now making a large large pen with a roof on it.. she is that scared all the time. |

| ![]() We have hawks out where we live as well. We've had hawks circle us so low that you could hear their wings flapping. They have also snatched some chickens and young pheasants from my neighbor. Daisy is never allowed outside alone, someone always has to be at her side. They are quite beautiful but also quite dangerous to small animals.

| ![]() As I am writing this my husband is putting one of those fake owls in my back yard in hopes of scaring away the hawks. Don't know if it will work but it makes me feel better ![]()
