We have hawks out where we live as well.
We've had hawks circle us so low that you could hear their wings flapping.
They have also snatched some chickens and young pheasants from my neighbor.
Daisy is never allowed outside alone, someone always has to be at her side. They are quite beautiful but also quite dangerous to small animals.
