wow, i would be so pissed if my friend did that. they would hear about it the second i saw my dog looking like that. she had no right to cut his hair. who does she think she is?? and being that she's a groomer she should be able to get a mat out without shaving the whole dog down, especially if its silky hair. cotton coats are harder but it can be done.

i'm so mad for you. when i read your first post the anger just swelled up inside me and i was like "WTF??"

i don't know if what you did, or didn't do, was better or worse.

if i were you and didn't say anything to her when she dropped the dog off, i'm probably continue to ignore her for a while.

Wow what she did was totally wrong to do and you need to let her know. It would have been one thing if she asked your permission, but to do it on her own without considering how you would feel is NOT right!! I think she needs to appologize to you and she needs to be aware of how hurt you are by her thoughtlessness.

Holy Crap I'd be pissed too. There is no way any sane person would do that to someone elses dog without asking permission first. It's unacceptable. WTH was she thinking . (Like you don't have enough stress with Brooke about to have her pups). OMG...I am SO pissed for you! OMG Seriously the thought of that happening to Lacy scares me and pisses me off beyond belief. I know some people think it's "just hair" but it's not just hair to me... Oh, I would have been livid. I think I would have just burst into tears right then and then just went off on her.. I would seriously be afraid I'd hurt someone if they cut my dogs hair!! I don't know if I should ever leave Lacy with anyone now!! My parents leave Rylie with the lady that grooms him in their town occasionally when they go out of town, and we had thought about going to 6 flags for the day once and we were going to leave Lacy & Rylie with her. The weather ended up being bad so we didn't go. I kept thinking about her cutting Lacy's hair though...I don't know if I would trust many people.. I think I will now always tell whoever I leave her with in the future to not touch her hair!! I wonder if you can sue someone for that? Like emotional damage or something?? I know this sounds crazy to some people because it's just hair, but y'all have no idea how pissed I would be!! OMG I am so angry when I read your post. I cannot believe that lady did that! I think if I would see my baby cut ( and we are growing his coat to be long) I think I would run to get my scissors and I would cut the lady's hair off! Then I would say oh I think you had a matt part in your hair. On the serious note it does sound like she was jealous. Definitely call her up and tell her how you feel. Knowing myself I dont think I would ever be able to be friends with that person ever again.

I do hair, I would never cut my friends kid's hair and then send them home with a new haircut without permission first. Sheesh. Not cool.
