| Banjo gets really cold! And he is about 9# now!! Wow! He usually has a hoodie on, and will sleep right in front of the fireplace w/ a fire in it! He shivers if he is out in the cold very long!

| Some dogs can tolerate really cold weather without being uncomfortable. It all depends on several factors. First is how they are raised. If they are raised in a really warm home, then their tolerance to anything under 70 degrees will be low. If the home is kept really cool at about 65 to 66 degrees, then they will be able to handle cooler weather outside. If the dog is an outside dog, it will handle even colder weather. However small dogs do not do well if kept outside when the temps. go down into the 40's and lower. Rule of thumb is.........if your dog shivers, then maybe a coat or sweater would make it feel really good. |

| Bailey and I live in Missouri. According to the vet - if I need a coat outside, then Bailey should have a coat. Otherwise, in the house - she's fine without anything. Bailey is 5.1 lbs and loves it outside - she does not shiver. |

| I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | Joey's breeder told us, "if you're cold and need a sweater, so does Joey."

| I don't think mine would know what hit them if they had to be naked for a day...lol They started wearing clothes the day I got them, so they just got used to it...none of them have ever really minded, and some LOVE their clothes...so I imagine mind would get cold if they didn't wear anything. |
