| Moose gets his bath in the tub and we use a hand held sprayer. I mostly just use a wash cloth with J&J baby bath for his face, then rinse with the sprayer very carefully, keeping his nose/head looking down. I try very hard not to get excessive water in the ears, eyes and nose. Everyone is so worried about getting water in their ears, well I have always wonder about when they go swimming?? Water get in their ears then. What about that?

| I've also wondered too about their ears when they swim. BTW, I think there's a some very good tips on this thread. I'm very glad it got started as I have had these concerns when I bathe my pup. |

| I do all I can to keep water out of eyes and ears. I have found that a soft bristle toothbrush really helps to clean those faces.

| Even though I don't do mine anymore, when I used to bathe them, I would rinse them by putting my hand over their face and nose and would do short rinses...All they do at the groomers is spray their heads, I've watched them do it, they don't take any precautions.. |

Phantom Queen Morrigan Donating Member | i hold morgan's face down by her beard so nothing goes up her nose. i don't worry about her ears getting water in them. I clean them when she's finished with cotton balls and q-tips. never had an ear infection yet.

Donating YT 11K Club Member | I use a washcloth also but it doesn't wash them too good, they are still smelly. So i cover their nose and put water on their face, just a little. It's hard though

| i have a small fine toothed comb(actually the little one that comes with the slicker brush to clean it) anyway i use that to get all the eye gunk out of Gizzies hair along with a toothbrush around her eyes then i put my finger over her nose and quickly just run the water over her head for a quick second and it does the trick and she doesnt get choked......
