i have a small fine toothed comb(actually the little one that comes with the slicker brush to clean it) anyway i use that to get all the eye gunk out of Gizzies hair along with a toothbrush around her eyes then i put my finger over her nose and quickly just run the water over her head for a quick second and it does the trick and she doesnt get choked......
