Please let me know if you come out this way, I would love to meet someone from here and love to let my little ones play with their own kind. The cats don't do much for them, and I don't know anyone who has a Yorkie around here....Well, unless I get this one for my mom, or find one for her soon anyway....

My friend has a Yorkie who has a face with light hair and a body with a silver grey coat. and she is full Yorkie. I did not know that was a flaw. I have seen many like that. It is so pretty.

I hope your mom gets the pup and enjoys many years with him.
He looks so pretty and loving.

. The Yorkie you posted a picture of was not born with a color anomaly....the standards change color for quite some time as has been mentioned. The Dandi Dinmont Terrier is believed to be part of the Yorkie "ingredients". I will attach a picture of a mustard colored Dandi. Until goldens popped up in a litter of mine, I knew very little about color anomalys which are due to recessive genes. Yorkies come in "standard" colored, "Golden", "Chocolate", and "Parti". They can all be found here on YT

. The color of the Yorkie you showed wouldn't be my top concern, it would be the disposition and health. If it is aggressive as you said, a person could run into many problems. Oh, I think I'm rambling too much....if only I could say it was my first time

. You can check out my Yorkie gang on my website (a very simple type, but I am working on a new one). I have 2 standards, a golden and a chocolate....I love 'em all!!!

I looked at the pics more closely (as I should have done the first time). I'd bet if you asked the owner what color he was as a pup they'd say black and tan. I can't explain the color that it is right now...even a red leg has the dark saddle. What is his cost if you don't mind me asking?

The lady was going to to sell him to us for $350....Key word, WAS...She called me a little bit ago and told me that she was outside with him this afternoon and the neighbor's GSD came out and bit him. I guess he's in critical condition and they aren't sure that he's even going to make it at this point. I feel so badly all the way around, I feel horrible for puppy, horrible for his owner, and I feel pretty bad for the owner whose dog attacked....I feel horrible for my mom who has wanted a Yorkie forever and to come this close to finally getting one, and so excited, only now to come crashing down again...What a bummer for everyone.

Oh my gosh...that is horrible to hear!

I will be keeping my fingers crossed for this little guy. Please keep us updated and stick with us. You will meet many great people here, learn things you never knew you never knew and you will have the perfect little furbutt before you know it, be it this cute guy or another.

Thats HORRIBLE!!!! ...and the timing seems ... odd. If it really did happen, I sure hope the little fella has a full recovery. I know things like this happen....something just feel odd to me.

Yeah, that was my first inclination also....I thought that maybe she saw my posts questioning if this was really a full Yorkie and got upset with me, but I hope not....well, that doesn't sound right either, then it would sound like I wanted the dog to get bitten and that's not right....I think you can get the gist of what I'm saying though....I hadn't changed my mind about getting him, I just wanted extra opinions....

I hope that the dog is fine, I pray that he will make a full recovery and be 100%!!!

Me Too! I totally get what you're saying because that's exactly how I was thinking. I do hope he is and/or is going to be 100% fine. I hope you stick around, this is a great site that is easily addictive where you end up finding great friends and feeling like you added addtional family members to your life.
