|  oh my, what a sad story. I am always fearful of that also. I only wear socks around the house and hope I never step on the little one. Actually I try to shuffle along so my feet do not leave the floor. :-(

| Thanks everyone. She is doing a *little* bit better today. It is her birthday today though, so it made it a really hard one.  She's just going over all the "if only" scenerios right now. Not that you ever want anything to die, but we tried to think that maybe it happened for a reason. Perhaps because he likes to run, one of her kids could have chased it into the road and gotten hit or something. I dont know, right now she is trying to tell herself anything that will help her feel better. She just cannot get the image out of her head.

| OMGosh I a so so sorry for her loss. I know how she feels.. This happened to me when I was a Kid with a Kitten and that Pain Never goes away... So so sorry... |

| oh, that is sooo sad. I am sorry!!!!!! I bet she is just torn up so bad. Bless her heart. Accidents are just sooooooo hard....I will say a prayer for her and her family!!!!!
