Thanks everyone. She is doing a *little* bit better today. It is her birthday today though, so it made it a really hard one.
She's just going over all the "if only" scenerios right now. Not that you ever want anything to die, but we tried to think that maybe it happened for a reason. Perhaps because he likes to run, one of her kids could have chased it into the road and gotten hit or something.
I dont know, right now she is trying to tell herself anything that will help her feel better.
She just cannot get the image out of her head.
