| Yep, I totally agree. You get what you pay for. If you use it enough, you get your money's worth.

| That bag is REALLY cute, especially the black one, I don't think the real one comes in black, which is what I would want. I sent the link to my hubby and all he said was *you already have 3 dog carriers!!!! why do you need another one?!?!?!* hehee. But that is a good price for what it is. I have real coach myself and adore the dog carrier, but I'll be damned if I pay that much for a carrier for my babies, spoiled rotten or not.

I completely understand not everyone wants to spend a lot of money on a carrier, but still want a certain look. Just having the authentic version myself at one time, I wanted to throw it out there that it will really last for many many years whereas the replica version probably will not. | |

| Yeah, replicas do tend to wear out fast. I'm not a fan of fake designer purses and choose to carry the real ones, but I wouldn't want to pay over 1800 for a dog carrier. I have the replica Louis Vuitton Sac Chien. I paid 155 for it and it wasn't as good quality as I thought when I received it. It's pretty worn out and I've only used it a few times. That replica Coach carrier looks pretty well made. If you are a Coach fan and don't want to fork out that kind of money for the real deal... I think you should go for it. I do know it's illegal to sell or buy counterfeit, so please be careful everyone.

| sorry i just got on this morning to lots of posts, let me just say -- i am doing people a favor by posting this link. i know i would not (and a lot of people) wouldn't spend that much on a bag, muchless a DOG CARRIER that your dog is likely to have an accident in. -shrug- considering the fact that most of the Coach knockoffs are 100+ i thought i would do a favor by posting this link for you i really hope you enjoy; and to the person who asked if i received it, no -- i just ordered it yesterday, but the link i left shows pictures of all angles |

I'm all about buying the name, but lets face it...$500 for the real one that your puppy will chew on, spit-up in, and get dirty just sounds like a waste of money even to me. So, now that I know where to buy the knockoff carrier, anyone know where I can get knockoff clothes?

| The only reasons that I don't buy fakes are: 1. They support child slave labor in foreign countries 2. Some of the seller support terrorism 3. They will NOT last like the real thing at all 4. It's against the law That said, I have seen some really really good fakes where it's hard to tell the difference. However, the one you posted is not one of them, I'm afraid. There are so many "tells" right off the bat just from that one picture I know not everyone can afford the real thing, but something like this can be bought used or you can just save up for it. It really is worth it to get the authentic item, if you put them side by side you'll see the difference immediately. Good luck with your new bag, it IS adorable and I understand why you bought it. I have one fake LV Speedy that I bought from a member here, knowing it was a replica, and unless you know a particular designer inside and out, it's super hard to tell the difference. But I won't ever buy another "designer inspired" bag, after I learned the facts that I posted above. The reason I am posting those facts is that you may be unaware of them, and I'm hoping that in the future, you'll remember them maybe Remember, just my opinion, with a few basic facts. I'm NOT trying to stir up controversey, just to help shed light on why those bags are so cheap.

| okay...i'm going out on a limb here. i just wanted to share my opinion. i don't buy fakes simply for the way they are manufactured. i don't like the shady business practices that many use to make the bags ( or sunglasses etc) it is just a bag but the shady practices that people support when buying them are not worth any price. We should be more considerate of such practices b/c indirectly when you don't do your research you support them. If you won't buy a puppy from a byb or puppy mill why buy a bag that does the same thing to humans somewhere else. there are consequences for it we just don't have to see them that being said if you like something buy it, if not don't! who cares what it costs. this really isn't about the coach knockoff. i think its really cute! i just want to be careful what i support. Again, its just my opinion. |

| this board has gone too far. it's not the fact that the bag is a knockoff that i like it, i think it is the right size and the right style -- exactly what i wanted. something small enough to use as a purse that resembles a purse. and for $68 i think that's a bargain. face it. most carriers (knockoff or not) are rather pricey. i'll be the first to tell you that the bag has many "giveaways" of being a fake (gold lining instead of pink, silver trim rather than gold) but it doesn't matter to me. and to the person who said they would pay $600 for the bag because it's worth it, i'm glad you can afford that, but i need to save that money for vet bills and what not. I'm 20 years old, not nearly wealthy enough to go out and buy a bag for my dog to be carried around in. but it's just my opinion, and personally i didn't expect for this thread start arguments and what not. it's an informative post letting other YTers know about this very adorable carrier i've found at a great price |

| No one is arguing with you, just stating OUR opinions and facts about the knockoff industry. I'm sorry if you feel that you're being attacked in any way. Speaking for myself, all I wanted was for you to have all the facts. There is also the possibility that the fake bag might be made with toxic materials, those things aren't inspected upon importing, simply because they are smuggled in. If things (like kids toys and our pets' food) that ARE inspected can be toxic, just imagine what might be lurking in an imported item that isn't subject to inspection Good luck with your bag, enjoy it. I hope that it's made as nicely as it looks and that you get many years out of it. I seriously just wanted to let you know these things, not to attack your choice of what to buy. How can you make a choice if you are unaware of some of the facts, right? Hugs
