| ![]() I'm just thinking that someone could have gotten info from her, like where she lives or where the new home for the pup is and then the police or an animal control officer could have gone and checked it out to make sure the pup was getting care. |

| ![]() Did anyone think that this might be a marketing scam? That there might not actually be a hurt yorkie? That this woman just did this to get loving, caring individuals to call and then try and sell them one of the other puppies she has. Every account of everyone that's called wanting to help the mom has ended with the woman saying that someone already took it, but she has other pups that person might be interested in. Seems a little fishy to me. Also as far as how she knew we were talking about her. she could be a member of YT it is a public forum. If she is a member I mean no disrespect it just sounds fishy to me.

Just an FYI - I just spoke to Melinda who returned my call - She is a RESCUE for yorkies - She said she would be HAPPY to pick her up if something else happens - She sounded VERY nice - it also sounded like she has quite a few rescues that she's involved with - So she DID answer and she IS a rescue - IF there are any problems with this yorkie - she is ready to help | |

| ![]() Well I hope that all goes well with this little girl. I'm sure that the lady who picked her up is probably like the rest of us, she just wants to get her the medical attention she needs and deserves. I know that I would drive many miles if there was a yorkie who needed rescue. Although I hope that this "breeder" didn't charge this lady anything for the female. I wish that we would find out how she come through all this...

| ![]() OMG is all I can say after I saw the pictures of Precious. How can this happen in this world. Thanks for the new caring people she has now maybe the rest of her years will be spent with love and care. This is horrible. As for the sick mommy orkie all I can pray for a special person to have rescued her from her misery and that her puppy remain safe, to what degree with that lady I don't know. Please have someone check this out. I am very far away in Florida or else I would do it myself. |

| ![]() Hello - I just came across this post, as well as joined the group. I believe I am the Melinda referred to in these posts. I am the Treasurer for Yorkshire Terrier Rescue Network and have been involved in rescue for the past 10 years. Do you remember which Yorkie you were discussing? There have been so very many, and hopefully I will remember this one. Thank you very much and look forward to talking with you. Melinda Housh, Greensboro, NC. |

| ![]() Oh boy, my mind is not the best....but I do remember this little female was to be very timid, wasn't eating, and had her stomach was cut open and it wasn't healing. I never heard of a vet handling a dog the way this one was handled .... the way it was described sounded like a butchered job). She had had pups and wasn't nursing them...a woman came and got the dog before anyone from YT had a chance to get her. We were all hoping to hear how the poor little girl was doing. Oh yeah, I think the owner said she couldn't afford to take care of her anymore. |

| ![]() My memory is just as bad - but, this is the one girl whose incession kept coming open and as an update, she is now doing very well, adopted out to a wonderful and loving family, spoiled and very happy. Love the happy endings. Sometimes the ones we think will never get adopted turn out with the very best homes! Melinda |
