| I know how you feel. Sometimes when Scooter snuggles up to me at night, it's almost like snuggling my kids when they were babies. I always tell people, having a Yorkie is the closest thing to having another baby. We all love them so much...and they give us such unconditional love in return - well, actually, they'd love us even if, God forbid, we didn't love them back! I'm totally in love with my little guy! |

Donating YT 30K Club Member | I love my yorkies becasue they make my heart smile. They are so unique in their personalities and even looks. They love you unconditionally and just wait for your return. Unfortunatley they do not live long enough. I have lost Karma in 1983, Zorro in 1991, Gracie in 1997 and most recently I lost my 6 month old Dixie to congenital kidney failure. Each one takes a part of your heart with them and a little piece gets replaced when they send another one to love. The pain can be unbearable but so worth the love you get in return.

Donating YT 11K Club Member | I just love that each of mine have something different about them. They have so much expression and personality, they just make me fall in love with them. There have been several members here that have lost their babies, some have gotten them back and some have not. There is a very good story, idk if you have read it about Miracle Maddie. She was missing for about 3 months i believe and was found. It was all a miracle, her mommy thought she was gone. The member's name i think is Denise157

| Murfee stole my heart the minute he was placed in my arms. I really wan't expecting that to happen since I had just lost my precious Kinzee. There is just something about that cute little face that just makes me melt. And also their unconditional love. I can just see it in his eyes.

| I love this thread... I love Bleu Boy just like he was one of my skin kids !! It is so funny because my boys and hubby kid me all the time saying MOMMY YOU LOVEHIM MORE! Yesterday is a prime example .. We had to go to town and Bleu was in the Aspen with my hubby and I got out and my hubby said he barked and whined till I got back.. He said Vicki Bleu is just like when Dylan was a baby.. I thought at that very moment ... He was right... Before Bleus surgery I was hand feeding him and preparing a diaper bag of sorts to take him with me everywhere we went... We load up and so does Bleu....I syringe feed him now.... I love it.. It is just like a baby being fed a bottle... Im gonna miss him coming out of the cast because he solely depends on me and I want it that way forever.... I do want him out of cast though haha... The reason we got Bleu is because hubby and I decided to get Bleu instead of having another child WHO WERE WE KIDDING ... We proudly have 3 boys now.. Hugs Vicki

| To me Buddy replaces my children who are all grown up now and have families of their own. He gives me something to baby, a mother is a mother I guess, spoil, love and come home too. Yorkies are like a human two year old to me. They understand and respond to your every wish and are always ready to please you with kisses or just make you laugh with one of their antics. Buddy is my first Yorkie and although I love him with all my heart I will feel just as devestated as lossing my German shepared or Terrier mix in past years. It took me almost three years to get him because I didn't want to go through the pain of loosing another but the benefits far outweigh that day I deceided and have not been sorry. Yes, they are a very special breed. |

| my yorkies are my BABIES and one year ago, if you would have told me how crazy in love with them i would be i would have told you that you were nuts my fiancé and i will never have human babies and so my furbabies are forever my children ... they just have a way of loving you and looking at you and getting SOOO excited and happy for you to come home from work and see them - there is nothing else in the world like that...their love is unconditional and they are so unique and sweet (when they are not being little boogers LOL) ... sometimes i will just hold them in my arms while they are sleeping and stare at their beautiful faces ... i am so in love with them! i only wished they lived as long as humans i actually had a horrible dream that someone broke into my home and stole my babies it was awful! in my dream i hired a private investigator to find them! i think losing them or having them stolen IS my biggest fear!

| I had read a story once about a little boy who's dog had to be put to sleep because of his health. The boy was about eight, on the way home he said to his mother, "I think I know why animals don't live as long as we do." His mother said why? And he responded "Animals are born with love, humans have to learn it!". Wise beyond his years? Perhaps but that is just another reason I dearly love my yorkie babies. They just know how to melt my heart. |

| I know, I don't have any human children but my two furry children are all I need. They both look at me with such unconditional love that my heart melts all the time. My oldest - 8 years - Rickles had such a hard life for 3 1/2 years that I do everything I can to make up for it. He was bought at a Pet shop and they thought he was going to be a tiny one and when he ended up 7 lbs. they didn't want him. By the time he came to me at 3 1/2 I was his owner number 6. You could count all his ribs and he was terrified of fly swats and puppy pads (Which made it a little harder to train my puppy when I got it) but now he is one of the most beautiful yorkies in the world. He follows me around the house and sleeps with me. When I got my first yorkie puppy 8 months ago, after just a few days Rickles and Gleason became great buddies. I also have cats and they all get along fine so I would say I have the perfect household. I may be Rickles' sixth owner but I am his last owner because I love him more than anything and will keep him with me always. Joyce Ann |

| For so many of the reasons others have already posted Lucy is my life. And most specially she has truly made me a better person. I am so much better for the privilege of her love for me.

| I love my two yorkies because I never know what they are going to do next! Also, at night I awaken by boobah, because the way she lets me know she is next to me. She will give a hard push toward my stomach to let me know she is close by! Im glad I chose the yorkie breed! They are a delight to my life.
