I know, I don't have any human children but my two furry children are all I need. They both look at me with such unconditional love that my heart melts all the time. My oldest - 8 years - Rickles had such a hard life for 3 1/2 years that I do everything I can to make up for it. He was bought at a Pet shop and they thought he was going to be a tiny one and when he ended up 7 lbs. they didn't want him. By the time he came to me at 3 1/2 I was his owner number 6. You could count all his ribs and he was terrified of fly swats and puppy pads (Which made it a little harder to train my puppy when I got it) but now he is one of the most beautiful yorkies in the world. He follows me around the house and sleeps with me. When I got my first yorkie puppy 8 months ago, after just a few days Rickles and Gleason became great buddies.
I also have cats and they all get along fine so I would say I have the perfect household. I may be Rickles' sixth owner but I am his last owner because I love him more than anything and will keep him with me always.
