I got Layla at 6 months for 700.00, she is ACA registered. I gave 400.00 for Chase at 14 weeks, he is AKC. As far as looks and temperment goes Layla is more show quality.

Talk about luck....about 11 years ago my husband and I went to a garage sale and the people had several Yorkies out on the porch. At the time my husband and I had 2 other female Yorkies and wanted another so we asked them if they had any for sale. They said they wanted to sell one of the females for $50. That is when we bought Channel. She was about 14 months old and AKC registered. It turned out that her grandfather was a champion and she had 22 champions in her pedigree. I have attached a picture that was taken of her when she was around 9 years old. You don't have to pay a fortune for a quality Yorkie but sometimes luck and being in the right place at the right time really helps.

Sophie is still quite young (just made 2 months) and i love that dog to pieces. Her personality is just amazing. She seems like quite an adorable puppy. I'm not quite sure how she'll turn out in the end, but she's gorgeous now. the point of this rambling, hehe, is that Sophie was purchased for $400. My breeder offered her male for $350, and her female for $400. I had always told myself that i would settle with a male if need be, but we splurged the 50 bucks and brought home a little girl. The ONLY downside was that my breeder was 4 or 5 hours away, on the texas/louisiana borderline. but it was still very worth it.
