Im counting down!!!

so Im counting down how many days until Gracie is ALL MINE!!! I cant WAIT!!! but the breeder is being VERY NAUGHTY!!! she teases me about when Im going to be able to take her home... first she said that I might be getting to take her home a couple of weekends ago... then came back and said she wasnt ready for me to bring her home... it was really hard going on that roller coaster ride... being really really happy on the high and then finding out that I couldnt have her.... was the really LOW LOW point... but the original date to bring her home was valentines day.... now.... yes now lol I cant have her until the 19th NOT because she isnt ready.... no... its because the breeder is going on a last min. vacation and doesn't want anything to happen to my baby when shes gone and not be able to get a hold of her... now I do have to add that she did ask me if it would be ok.... of course I said it will be really really hard for me to not have my baby because I have been waiting for so long for her already... but I understand that its her anniversary and they have 6 young kids that they needed a break from... but Im really upset about it... am I wrong for feeling this way??? I dont know but thats the sad story... (

I don't know want to be a downer about it but it sounds a little suspicious that the breeder keeps putting off the date the puppy is ready to be received if it's not for the reason that a puppy isn't old enough or of weight. Did you already pay in full or just a deposit?

I do hope Gracie comes home soon though! I'm 2-3 months away from getting a yorkie and the wait is killing me already.

That seems odd about the breeder. She should know when Gracie is ready and not tell you that you can pick her then change her tune. I would be angry as well ... I do hope you get your baby and soon

Hmm, this is starting to sound kinda strange Where is your baby coming from - is she being shipped to you and the breeder is worried about the flight and the weather? We've had such crazy weather here in Utah that I could understand if that's her fear or maybe if your baby is very tiny and she's worried about her traveling - but I'm not so sure about the vacation thing.

ok so... I better explain this a little bit better... Im getting Gracie from a breeder in Texas and Im going through this lady that is local... she knows the breeder ... and the lady that is local is the lady that is going to vegas ... the first time that they had said that i could maybe take her home... the breeder said no shes not ready yet.... so Im hoping that its just this local gal thats a flake... but we shall see... I would never give the whole amount of money unless I have my baby and am 100% satisfied... so even if this is a bad mean person.... I wont be out any money... we also have a contract... my dh works with the courts and that was the only way I could give a deposit... lol
