Last year my daughter and I found a 2 1/2 lb yorkie. We had him for 2 weeks before we found the owner. He was adorable but I did worry about his size. He seemed too fragile and I always worried that he would get hurt playing with my 3 dogs. We were heartbroken when the yorkie left because we grew to love him very much. My husband bought my kids a chocolate yorkie to ease the pain. We went with the chocolate because he was only $750. We love our Chunk. He is the sweetest thing. He has bonded with me. I can't even go into the bathroom without him trying to follow me. The other dogs love him but I really think Chunk loves them a bit too much. My husband and I have no regrets getting a 4th dog. Chunk and Gertie, (our 6 lb pomchi), go on all our camping trips with us.

My kids took about 3 hours to choose Chunk as his name. We had no idea that this would be the perfect name. He has grown into his name. Our Chunk weighs 14.2lbs. We didn't know he would be a large yorkie. He was only 9 weeks when we got him and his parents are 5 and 7 lbs. There's just more to love. When he plays with Molly, (our bassett hound) she makes noises that sounds just like Sloth. Chunk's friend in Goonies.

I would love me some chocolate. I told hubby if I get another that is what I want. Unfortunately, the prices are very high on them so I doubt I will be able to justify spending that much next time around.

Rocco looks a lot like Sophia. So cute. Tuffey is her baby. Sophia is a little princess. She likes to be hand fed, but will eat from her bowl if I make her. Tuffey on the other hand is the opposite. He is only 7 months old so he still has a lot to learn. Their favorite thing to do is go to the Bark Park on the weekends. They have so many friends there - we even met some humans there! What a great place to go. Hope all our YT friends have a great day

Are chocolate yorkies priced higher than the standard color yorkie. The reason we went with a chocolate because Chunk was only $750 and his siblings who were the standard color were $1250. I can't believe some breeders would actually sell them for more money when they aren't the standard. They are adorable just like a standard. The only difference is the color. They should not be bred. They are more than enough coming from standard color yorkies. Chunk's parents were the standard color and 2 out of the 4 pups were chocolate.

I guess they are. I don't think they should be though, they are worth just as much money as a standard, so I think they should be priced the same.
