| Sounds like she is going to be a small one. I'd guess 5.5 or maybe 6 pounds at the most (and that's if she gets a little chubby. ). She should start slowing down soon and I think that by a year she will be all done growing. |

| Most experts I have read say that they stop growing in height and legth when their adult teeth are in but they still "fill out" or gain wieght in muscle and fat as they age just like we people do. |

| Tinkerbell has not gained an ounce in a month. She is almost 7 months old and 5 lbs on the dot. |

| Maximus is a little over 5 months and 4.5, he should be around 5.5 or 6 lbs fully but I think he will be a little heavier because he is skinny BUT very long!!

| She should be done for the most part growing. She may grow just a little more but I bet she'll be in the 3 lb range.

| Puppy Weight The puppy weight chart always had Piper on track to be 5 lbs. full grown but at 4 months he is already 3.6 lbs. (he just had a 1/2 lb. growth spurt in a weeks time). His momma-dog is 4 lbs. and his daddy-dog is 5.5 lbs. so that too made us figure around 5 lbs. but with his new weight it seems he might become bigger then we thought or he may slow down...who knows. Only time will tell. I'm not 100% sure when they stop growing either but I hear anywhere from 6 months to a year and then of course the filling out when they do stop.

| I think it'll be a surprise yorkies are so different some stop growing/gaining at 6mo and others up until they are 1yr of age. Missy and Max both weighed 3lbs at 6mo but now at 1yr Missy is 5.5 and Max is 4.5.

| I've read that a lot of vets say they have their full size at 6 months. Meaning they're bone structure is set, they are as long or tall as they will get but they will probably gain weight. When I read about pups like Sammi I can't believe she is the same length or the same height as she was when she was 6-7 months old. I know Pirogue is not the same size as he was when he was 6-7 months old. He weighs over 10# and right now I can't remember how much he weighed at 6 months but we never thought he'd be 9# let alone over 10. Now, Lady gained 2 lbs between the time she was 6 months to 1 year. But she's not noticably bigger, I can see she's bigger but I have to stop to look and think about it to realize it. Lacijo was under 2# at 6 months and now she's 9 1/2 months and 3.8# but I haven't weighed her this week. Week before last she weighed 3.5# and the same the week before. I don't think she'll reach 4# and stay there, maybe fluctuate lower but not more, I think. Sylvia |

| If you limit treats, snacks and table food (the things that can plump them up) she will probably put on a pound or so as she matures. I would be surprised if she ended up being over 4 pounds as adult..Keep us posted.. |
