 Puppy Weight
The puppy weight chart always had Piper on track to be 5 lbs. full grown but at 4 months he is already 3.6 lbs. (he just had a 1/2 lb. growth spurt in a weeks time). His momma-dog is 4 lbs. and his daddy-dog is 5.5 lbs. so that too made us figure around 5 lbs. but with his new weight it seems he might become bigger then we thought or he may slow down...who knows. Only time will tell. I'm not 100% sure when they stop growing either but I hear anywhere from 6 months to a year and then of course the filling out when they do stop. |
