How is Monty doing these days? Have you had an update from his family?

unfortunately I have not heard anything else. I am taking Preston in to the vet on Monday, and by some weird twist of fate, they do go to the same vet. I am thinking about checking to see if they have some information they can give me, or if they will give my information to his Mommy when she comes in again. I do wonder about him from time to time. I offered play dates if whe wanted when she picked him up, but from what she said, he gets those every Friday, as where she works they have bring your dog to work day every Friday. This does make me feel good for Monty, as he is finally getting the love and socialization he missed out on before.

I bet the vet would put a letter from you in his file or something. I just wish you could visit with him. I know how attached you can get to a yorkie you care for. Hugs!

You are a very special person to take the time to track his mommy down. You're right, I don't think many people would have done that. You are definitely his angel.

Rentfrog, I just want to say I really admire how hard you worked to find Monty's real family. Good for you! And if I was you, I would go for the chip on Preston. Even if you think someone might keep him if he got away, the chip would identify him if there was a question of ownership.
