| Call and tell them you want to wait till the pups get a bit older to see how much they will weigh. Tell them youdon't want them to cash your check till you are sure...
If I were your mom, would put a stop payment on the check. If they don't try to cash it they will never know. If they do as long as it hasn't cleared at your bank they won't get your money.
These people should understand. If they mislead you about the sizes of their pups that is wrong. If they care about their pups they will understand and want their pups to go to a home where the owners will be completely happy.... If you JUST put the down payment on them a day or so ago, how can they refuse?
Look at it this way, the worst thing that can happen is they say no. You can't have the refund back... Be nice, call, and be sweet as you can... If thye arnt nice back they are the ones with the problem. Do it quick and have peace of mind!;) |
