I think it was Whispersmom, who told me that neutered males can still hook up with females. I have a Pom who is about 11-12 years old. We got him from a humane society and his penis slips out once in a while and he still humps, not often but now and then. I don't know how old he was when he was neutered but we've had him almost 3 years.

A couple of days ago I saw Mr. Bigs RR peeking out. BooHoo, my baby boy is trying to turn into a man! He's only 6 months old. He sleeps right next to my breast and when I pull him closer to cuddle he makes baby noises, little grunts and groans, so sweet! I don't want him to grow up!

Gus was Fixed at 8 months and he will still hump his toys every so often. As far as his little R.R. I noticed that when he gets extremely excited. Like coming home to him after a long seperation. But never while he's humping his toys

Im cracking up over here, lol.
Gucci had a parrot stuffed doll that she she used to hump. The first time we saw her, we didnt believe that a female dog humps too. We were laughing too.

Thank you all for your input.. I guess it's normal. He doesn't do it often, only to his rottweiler, and usuallly just in the evening after the kids are in bed. I think he's so happy to have my husband and I all to himsef he gets really excited.
