The "stream your dog" is the option you get when you sign in. Just to to mypetcam.com and you'll know what I mean.
To restrain your computer from going into hibernation mode you have to go to the power setting of your computer and make sure the timing for going on stand by or hibernation are NEVER.

that depends on the lenght of your camera cable. They are usually not too long. I have a laptop so I put it on top of the TV and the camera is just 4 or 5 feet away from Bengi.

Well, in my case, my mom lives a block from my apartment, so if he would be doing something really bad or he's in danger, I would just call her; she's at her home most of the time. But that's just me!!!!

My friend's Yorkies know when it's time for them to go swimming! every day at around 4 o clock, they go to the door and bark at mommy to let them out to swim in the pool...they swim every day, and they know when it's time to go in the pool... i thought that was amazing...

My 2 know when its time for their morning walk, dinnertime,playtime and bedtime, and they are very verbal about it if i happen to be on pc at any of those times

This is absolutely true! My Little Brandi Blu (born this past Halloween) wakes up every morning at 6:45. It is amazing. It doesn't matter if it's a weekday or the weekend (and our schedules are so different for each - so I know she's not following what we do). She never misses by more than 5 minutes each way. The funny thing is, she's the only one! The other 2 puppies never make a sound in the AM (although they can tell when it gets close to the time when Mommy comes home from work) but Brandi is like an additional alarm clock. We can count on her "siren" to go off every morning between 6:40 and 6:50 - no matter what! Amazing!

Hmm, so my question is, how well would this work with a laptop?? Obviously it'd work, but isn't it harmful to the battery to leave it running and plugged in all day?? My Yorkie is kept in the kitchen all day, which is far away from our PC, so we'd have to use a laptop. I think this would be neat, and I do have a webcam, but I just wouldn't want to run down the laptop's battery over time by using the computer all day, every day.

I agree. I go to bed about the same time during the week. On weekends if I am up later, Gracie will go ahead and go in the bedroom, get in her bed and go to sleep. She knows when night night time is.

I know what you're saying and I have the same problem. I take the battery out so it won't ruin it and I leave the computer on top of a tray with mini fans that keep the laptop from overheating. The screen does turn off after about 15 min of being on. I just started using the petcam for a few days now, all this if just too new right now, but I don't know if I'm gonna keep it on everyday forever! Probably I'll plug it in when my baby is not feeling well or on special days.
