All mine sleep with me. Lucy sleeps under the covers by my knees, Caesar curls up under my chin, Ciara sleeps above my head and Cookie sleeps by my feet.

Before Indie went to his forever home, he slept with me, too. He started howling one night when he was less than 7 weeks old. He got all the other puppies going, too. I picked him up and put him in my bed. He quieted right down and so did the other puppies. When I sold him I told his new Momma he had to sleep with her. That was fine with her, since that's what she wanted anyway.

Yep. Kinda the same thing here. Max goes in his playpen and will whine a little but as soon as the lights and tv are off..he is quiet. When I get up after about 4-5 hours to put him out, he then gets to sleep with me for the rest of the morning. I like it this way!! The greyhounds get to sleep with me for the first half and Max gets the second half. I don't have to worry about the GH flopping on Max that way!

Love sleeping with your babies

My husband and I can not imagine having Chunk, (our 14 lb yorkie) and Gertie, (6 lb pomchi), not sleep with us. Chunk loves to cuddle and Gertie curls up in a little ball. Molly, (our bassett hound) sleeps with our daughter and Sparky, (our 110 lb rotty/german shephard) sleeps on his own bed. Thank goodness for that. Enjoy your babies!!!!

Well, when we got our first yorkie, he cried in the crate, we gave in, and he's slept with us since. Then yorkie #2 came along...she cried in her crate, we gave in, and then there were 2 extra (little) bodies in our full size bed. These fur-babies may be little, but they are bed hogs. When they fall asleep, there is no moving them! So........we got a bigger bed! LOL Now we have Toby . At just a tad over 2 lbs we thought NO WAY can he sleep with us (at least not until he's a little bigger). So into a large crate he goes each night, and so far he does very well. I myself feel a little sad that he's there and we are all on the bed, but he doesn't seem to mind (or fully get it yet). For the life of hubby and me, we cannot remember how it was that we felt comfortable enough with the other two about not falling off the bed when they were small. They were a little bigger than Toby at that age, but still... Anyway, Toby sleeps fine through most of the night, but often wakes up about an hour or so before we normally get up, and cries to be let out. That's when he joins us all in bed. Since we are not ready to get up that early, he has curled up with us and surprisingly has done quite well falling asleep in one spot. Even still, I think we'll keep him in his crate for as long as we can or til he get bigger, older, and wiser about the edge of the bed. It's quite a drop to the floor.....and a hard-wood floor would NOT be a soft landing for him!
But someday..........no doubt there will be 3 yorkies in bed with us.....and someday there-after......maybe 4??????????? Hmmmmmmmm

Default Lucky we have King

We are stuck with Parker now. Well, every once in a great while he might get bothered by our snoring and go find other accommodations, but he is usually right there snuggled up with me n daddy.

Hannah slept with us. We have a king size bed that is quite high off the ground. Hannah very seldom would jump off to roam the house @ night. I think she was actually checkn on the kids being a good lil guard dog. She woould move outta the way as well. It was always funny in the AM I would get up 1st, turn the bathroom light on (on wifes side of bed) look back @ the wife and think,, "I know Hannah is in there somewhere". sure enough I would lift the cover and there she was cuddled next to Heather. Then she would give me a look like I just bothered her . Hannah RIP we miss and love ya sweetie..
Now we have Chloe........... Night one slept with us. She actually slept on my wifes head . We have had her since Friday and have had no problems. She is starting to sleep thru the night. She's the other alarm clock that you can not hit snooze on. lol She is a cuddler as well.

Both our girls sleep with us. I'm a very light sleeper so this is also how I potty trained them to.

Well I'm glad I'm not the only one that has a yorkie as a bed hog. I just got Maverick and he's been in my bed from day one. At first I didn't want him on my bed b/c I didn't want him to pee or anything and he's only 12 weeks old BUT he sleeps with me and we get up around 12:30 and 6 and he hasn't peed yet!! Thank goodness!! My husband is gone right now so I'm not sure how he is going to like it this weekend when he gets to come home for a few days and sees that we now have a dog in the bed.

Default Rolling off?

Ha... I have puppies in my very high bed all the time. They all try to sleep either on my neck or pillow and in between my hubby and I. They never get even close to the edge. My Chloe (who is a jumper) won't even think about jumping down! I guess some may... but it is not my experience (knock on wood!)

Looks like your babies won round 1. Yes they will whine, but you just have to ignore them if you don't want them to learn that that is all they have to do.

All five of mine used to sleep with me. Miko, my oldest slept with my hubby and I since day one, when we got #5 it began to become a problem. They would all sleep around me, they didn't bother my hubby at all, one at my feet, 2 at my stomach, 1 in my back and Prissie on my head, across my neck, just anywhere around the head area. It got to where I couldn't move an inch all night, needless to say I would wake up with neck or back aches, so I had to make a change. It was hard for the first week, then they got used to it. Miko is 6 now and they have been sleeping in their own room for about a year and a half.

Also, I never worried about them falling off, Might slept on my backside which was the end of the bed and he never fell off.

Good Luck!

Default same here

I guess I'm the alpha, I wanted all our dogs crate trained, and that worked until they could hold it all night the the dh said it's so mean to leave them cooped up, lets let them sleep with us. So now we have a queen sized bed that has just enough room for us and 3 dogs. Cricket is aprox 50 lbs and will snuggle up against u and push, u move he takes the room just vacated. Wiley unfortunatly learned this from him. so dh and I end up on the very edges of our respective sides of the bed and the dogs are all comfey and streched out inbetween. Pepper tends to lie across your neck which isn't so bad right now(she's only 5 lbs). today dh didn't sleep so well, dogs just wanted to play. when he complained, I reminded him whose idea it was to let them sleep with us. He hates it because when I go to bed they just settle right down and don't strech out like they do with him. (could have something to do with Cricket getting rolled on by dh as puppy) he he
