prayers are with you it is extremely frustrating... get a good magazine and get your babies and cuddle... its heart breaking bleu has lp 1 and i regret the day! we are all here for you .. it just aggravates me to no end that yorkies have to endure what they do it upsets me terribly.. it is definitely not fair!

yeah..the vet told me not to worry..but i am preparing for the worst.. my hubby and i are planning out what we will do..i know we are paranoid parents..we just want the best for her.

So well said, my little Kacee has LP also. He was not born with it, he was just fine, but my brother in law decided when I was not home to let him climb the large steps going up to their deck, but all afternoon.. he weighed less then 2 pounds.. not long after that he would cry out. I then found out that this is what had happened.. I cringe when people with small toy dogs, think it is funny when there little one's as baby's stand on their hind legs.. and jump up and down on them.. It can cause LP so easily. It is just a scary thought to even put kacee through this surgery..

My thoughts and prayers are with you...I hope all is ok. Seems like there have been alot of cases of LP lately. I worry about that with Maddie cause she is a jumper...it doesnt matter how hard I try or what I do, she'll jump from the back of the couch, off my high bed (instead of taking the stairs off) etc. We moved into a 2 story house and she just flys up the stairs.

i know i have been seeing a lot of cases of LP here..i didn't want to say anything after i found out because it is stage 1. But i just want Brooke to know she is not alone and there are more of us going through this and we are all here to support each other..we need a LP support group!

oh..only tumi has LP..i am just also really sad abt Brooke who is Tatum's mom because Tatum has LP also and she just found out today..i am just really sad this is happening to our little ones.

I totally understand! Both my adult yorkies have it too! Bella has grade 1, Sachi might have grade 2, I really don't remember.
They are doing well right now and I am going to start giving them supplements.

Omg... I'm so sorry to hear that. I didn't know that you were going through this. I had no idea Tumi has LP... nor did I know about Tatum! I'm really shocked. I will pray for the both of them. I hope it's not that serious. Please, keep your head up.
