Awww I am so happy Stanford is with you!! He will be in good shape soon...he sure is a cutie..that face is to die for!! Dawn |
Glad to see this has a happy ending. I can wait to see shat love and good healthy diet do for him. Congratulations |
I am shocked at how bad he looks. But I certainly am glad you have him and I know he's in good hands. Take care and if there is anything we can do to help, just let us know!:) |
My goodness 10!! I wouldn't have guessed that before. He does look a lot worse than a few months ago. Poor guy, but we know you can get him back on his feet. |
I'm thrilled to hear that this story ended up with that poor baby boy in your hands and heart, which is obviously filled with love for him. He really does look to be in worse shape then the first time. :( I'm certain with proper feeding, nutrition and care though that he will thrive. And WOW he is 10! I would have never guessed that. I hope that you will join our Yorkie Haven here and continue to share Standford with us all. :D |
Awe How Great of you to take Stannie in and Give hima great Furever home. .. Praying that he is all Healthy and Lives a Sweet new life with his Daddy. (((((HUGS))))) to you. |
I remember this story and I am so very happy Stanford now is in his forever loving home! I know he will be just fine with all the love you have for him. Yay! We get to see you and Stanford around here on YT! |
I just read the entire story of Myles/Stannie. I don't know how I managed to miss it the first time seeing as how nosey I am! :) I just wanted to drop in and tell you how happy I am at this ending. And 10 years isn't so old for a Yorkie. Many of them live way beyond that. So congrats to you for finding your little buddy again. I know you were and will continue to be the best Daddy little Stannie could hope for. Please keep us updated. You have a great way of writing. It really tugs at the heartstrings. Best wishes to you and your entire fur family. |

Welcome HOME, Stanford!!! And congratulations, Matthew. Good things do come to those who wait! |
Thanks Thanks for all the nice replies, all. Well, he is eating like a horse, but I am keeping it to small feedings spread out during the day. And the occasional treat, of course. He seems to really like peanut butter on the end of my finger. And the Mother Hubbard's, of course. He is drinking lots, and peeing tons (outside, I am happy to say). No leash needed...I just stand out there with him, he does not stray more than a few feet, and then he trucks right back to the door to (literally) leap inside. Then back to his chair for a nap. I got a few licks, and he is not shaking anymore when I pick him up. I am not going to wait until Friday, but rather take him in tomorrow morning to go for the vet check up. His scratching seems to have decreased over the day, but I want him to get all his shots, a check up, and get that coat and skin checked out. The vet he was taken to this morning is not my vet, and I don't like them much (having been there once before). My vet is calm, quiet, and has a beautiful facility. So off to the vet for Stannie tomorrow. I am very happy right now. He seems to appreciate that he does not have to be out in the pouring rain we are having at the moment, and I am glad he is here! Matthew |
What a nice happy ending, Matthew! I am sure Stanford is so grateful to you for taking care of him. He looks like such a sweet little guy and I am sure with the care you are giving him, his coat will look a lot better really soon. Congratulations! |
Matthew, I remember the story of Myles!! I think this is great. This poor little guy....he will be so much happier in a home forever with you! Welcome to the yorkie club! |
Bless his little heart!! I'll bet he thinks he's in yorkie heaven now that he has a home with you! What a great guy you are :number1ri |
