well, that's kind of like saying ALL babies are pretty. You guys know they aren't. of course we would never in a million years tell parents that. I have seen some ugly yorkies in my time, too. So stone me !!!!!!

Okay, here is my take on things If I see a puppy, it is cute. I don't care what breed it is, if it is a puppy, then it is cute. Some of the adult dogs I find aren't cute but I haven't found one yet that I would call ugly! They are all unique in their own way. I wish I felt the same way about humans... Just my opinion.

I am the same way, but I would not tell the owner of a certain breed that they are ugly. I honestly am not a fan of chihuahuas, but I will not say it in front of the owners face that their dog is ugly. I was at the Vet recently and a little girl said out loud "Chihuahuas are ugly". I felt bad because I believe someone was there to pick up their Chihuahua and I know she have heard us talking about that breed. I just say I don't really like that breed, but that young girl straight out said "they are ugly and look like little rats"!

Anyways, I think the Yorkshire Terriers are a gorgeous breed. There are some not so good looking yorkies, but I keep it to myself. People have their preference, but I just think it's rude when they flat out call them ugly in front of us.

Well thats why there are Chevy's and Fords. She was pretty brazen to put it the way she did. I think manners and tact have gone out the window nowdays. I love animals period and she had her nerve to say that to you.

Well, I think the long haired ones are cute. I guess I like any breed that has long hair.

Someone said that about my Cali once and AFTER I GOT OVER MY RAGE, I felt pretty bad about it. It was over the summer and Jim and I were walking the babies down by the water. One guy and two girls were walking behind us and while the girts were ooohhhing and aaahhhing over Cali, the stupid guy made a comment about Cali looking like a rat. Well, let's put it this way ... he profusely apologized after hubby got done with him but still what he said was rude because he KNEW that I could hear him. He was walking just a few feet behind me and I could clearly hear every word he said. It's like he said it on purpose just to be a jerk. Lucky for him that my hubby didn't pummel his ass lol

Aw... people call my yorkies rats too. I try to take no offense. I think Yorkies looks exactly like Chihuahuas, just with longer hair.

I have two pugs....and just yesterday a "friend" spent an entire 5 minutes (no exaggeration) telling me how ugly they are. She called over 4 more people and expounded to the whole group how ugly those eyes and wrinkles are.
Grrrrr.....she has Chinese Crested (sp?) and to me those are the all-time ugliest dogs. But I would never tell her that.
