Ok, since there were so many replies, I didn't actually read through ALL of them (although I probably should have ) but I have been saying it - "beev-are" ....is that right?? Or am I totally wrong?

LOL....that's EXACTLY how I used to pronounce it, before I read all the stuff about pronouncing it "bevar" - although I am still not sure that I am saying it right lol. I have been saying "beev-are" - I'm probably still way off though

hahah...okay now you've just brought a new saying...if you move your v to the other side of the dash (bee-vare), I think that's what they're saying it's supposed to be pronounced like....I was telling some co-workers about them...just knew I was doing something when I said there is another type of yorkie(somewhat)..called the "brewer".....and I lived in Germany(when I was younger though).

Ok, I should of typed it like that, lol! That actually is how I am pronouncing it...."bee-vare" - geez, that really is a tricky word huh, LOL. My in-laws (father in law, and step-mother in law) are both German...so I guess I will have to tell them to say it for me outloud LOL.
