| My husband wants another small dog I am not to sure if I can handle a third dog. I am an Culinary Art Student and a wife and a mother. I just don't believe I have the time. I plan to open up a catering business after graduation and I will not be able to take a new puppy with me. I did tell him that if he does get one it must be a small dog and housebroken. Does anyone else own a business and have more than one furbaby? If so, what do you suggest? |

| My Husband and I have a courier business and we have two yorkies. I really dont think there is much difference having two or one. Except two keep each other company. I think if your Husband wants a new puppy then he should be willing to do the training and help take care of the pup. Me and My Husband both take care of Ours

| That sounds like a typical husband. We have 3 dogs and my husband thinks we can add another. Of course I was all excited but then got scared. I do all the training, bathing, taking care of, brushing, poop scooping...so of course HE thinks we can handle another one! We have one very old dog and two younger ones and I just adore my yorkies so I'm always looking at ads. I think it sounds like you don't think you can handle another pet, which is the smartest decision and NOT the easiest one. That's the conclusion I came to, that we have just as many as I can take care of really really well. I know I'm making the right decision but ooooh, I want another one so bad. It's a daily struggle to tell myself I will be overwhelmed and seriously, when you get a new addition to your family it should make you feel excited and happy(not anxious). Hey, and don't fall for the "I'll help out" line(mine tried it too). I feel like an alcoholic trying to control their addiction. I take it one day at a time.

| LOL MY hubby DOES NOT want anymore dogs period..Right now we have 6...Of course, I keep looking at yorkies online, and he just walks by and shakes his head, but, I have to see where hes coming from, they do tie you down when you want to go off somewhere..To board out 6 dogs is very costly..Who would be the one taking care of the dog? If you hubby wants it, then he should take care of it. That one guy in NC has a 14 mo. old boy he's trying to sell as he's moving back to Hawaii..he said he's housbroken.. |

| Another dog could be more work. But lucky you for having a husband who suggested getting another SMALL dog! It took me years to talk my husband into the idea of a Yorkie. Of course, now he loves Cooper. But I don't expect him to suggest getting another anytime soon. Good luck with whatever decision you make. |
