Kelly, thank you for all that you do to help dogs out there. Please be careful. I worry that the person on the forum that has been notifying the breeders that are posted about here may also warn this puppymiller of what has been posted on this site about them. It is scary. You never know what someone may do to keep their money flowing. Please be careful.

Thank you for posting this, this didnt even cross my mind until now.

I am sure you are right, I bet this miller has been notified Kelly please do not go back there, we wouldnt want you to be in harms way.

Good work Kelly, I bet your heart was racing, I know mine would have been. Yes, don't go back there, you've done your share, now let the authorities do their work, hopefully. I don't think it would be a bad idea to notify even a local paper of what's happening, it couldn't hurt. Too bad that we, as animal lovers, can't take out an add in the paper and let others know what's going on. Couldn't this be considered animal abuse. I know, they have shelter, and food and water, but still this just sickens me how any human could do this. Let us know is something comes of this...

Thank you so much for investigating that place for us.

I am not glad that I was wrong as this means my worst fears were realized and the bright side is we can hopefully shut them down. I just wanted to believe what was on that site and that all those dogs were happy. We are so lucky to have you so close.

Let me know what I can do to help if there is any legal paperwork or need of an attorney.

Hey....this is one way to get the emotions up and get some action! I am not going to pretend that was my intention all along because, obviously it wasn't! I was duped!!!! I am so naive sometimes I guess. At least I am not hardened and still have some faith in mankind.

I know exactly how you feel Kim. My family always calls me naive because I always want to believe the good in people. I don't like to believe that people are bad or would intentionally hurt others (or animals), but they do. I am the eternal optimist but am sadly realizing that many people are out for a buck with no remorse. Thank you Kelly for checking this place out. I really hope the back and forth talk stops, because we all love our yorkies and love YT. No more fighting, cause my Coco is watching you all..hehe

Kelly, I have a friend who writes the animal column for the DAILY NEWS - that's a newspaper over here in Brooklyn, NY. I have been talking to her about writing a story on puppy mills to try and get some light shed on the issues. Maybe she can write about your story. If you want, PM me so we can talk about any options further. I think what you did was very brave and I'm happy you're trying to shut that awful place down.

I used to see the good in all people too and then I became an animal control officer. I then changed my mind, There are alot of people out there that have the mentality that a dog is just a dog, nothing more. But I am different, My dogs are like my children. I love them with all my heart just as I do my skin kids.

I agree with you about the back and forth stuff, I mean we all get into our bad moods but we need to stop and think about what we are doing. Why argue?? There is no point. We all have our opinions and not everyone is going to agree with them. Value everyone as an individual, plain and simple.

And I also just want to take this time to apologize to you vainchick for what happened between you and I over that thread about Yoda. I was in a S**** mood that day due to relationship issues and I didn't mean to take it out on you. I hope that you can accept my appology. Oh and before I forget, thanks for posting that pic of Coco......... She is a cutie....

Don't even worry about it Kelly. We can all get in our own moods sometimes and I was in mine too that day. I know you are a great person with a lot of knowledge and love for animal, I respect that a lot. No hard feelings here at all. I know how relationship issues can get. So if you need to talk about it, don't hesitate. My little Coco always gives me that one eyed look when she's suspicious.haha

I love a happy ending - that was nice....Kelly - it must have been a VERY tough job being in Animal Control...I can't even imagine.

I wanted to be an animal control officer when I was young. I worked at the police department and they had an opening. My dad told me I didn't have a big enough yard to be a dog-catcher. He was right - we didn't have no kill shelters back then, some actually had the police officers shoot the dogs to euthanize. In reality, we've come a long way.

I worked in animal control for 2 years then quit. My heart couldnt handle it and my house wasnt big enough for all the dogs i was bringing home.
