| He is "Chatty Cathy"...and driving us crazy!!! Ok...you guys cannot laugh!!! Buddy is a Chatty Cathy....he really thinks he can talk!!!! He does this growling, mumbling, barking thing!!!! He is very rude about it and interrupts EVERY conversation!!! If I am on the phone ....he starts his chatting!! When we are on the phone...we have hide from him!!! If we have guest over he will get between us and our guest and do the chatting thing!!! When my hubby comes home from work we love to sit in the familyroom and talk.....Buddy will get between us and start his chatting!!! He WILL NOT let us talk!!!! Yesterday I had two different contractors here to discuss an addition we are doing to our home.....again, Buddy would not let us talk!!!!! We had to go outside because Buddy was standing on the back of the sofa just jabbering away!!!!!!!! He will not shut up!!!!!! BTW, stop laughing!!!!! My hubby said, PLEASE get your YT friends to help us!!!! We have tried everything and nothing works!!!! Can someone help us find the OFF switch???? PLEASE help us!!!!

YT Graphic Artist Donating Member | OMG! Sorry, but that is just too funny. My Gellica is a chatter, and it looks as though she has passed this "talking" gene down to her son, Phantom. She says "Out" when she has to go - clear as a bell. She also does her "chatting" when she's trying to get our attention. Usually, if we just pick her up, she stops her talking and turns to kissing! Phantom said "Ow" the other day when we were trying to brush him. I swear, he was not being hurt, but it was just so funny. Everyone in the room heard it loud and clear. They have such little personanlities. They will not be ignored!

| Hi Rhonda I don't have any real advice to offer here, except maybe Buddy can't stand the thought of you talking to someone else, so he decides to drown everybody out. He is such a cute little guy. I LOVE his smile. His picture is just sheer happiness. He must have a personality all his own. I know that Tootsie will practically break her neck to get in between my husband and I if we are talking. She's really jealous. She continually drops her ball at my husband's feet and looks up as if to say, never mind about her, let's play. Have a good day Janice |

| Puddin' purrs ... he'll come, sit at my feet (or in my lap if he can get to it!) look at me and purr. He's starting to make a lot of other vocalizations, too. As with your descriptions, it's not a growl or a bark ... those are very identifieable, even his play growl. He's trying to communicate. It's one of his most endearing qualities. We've decided that he's so much fun, we'd like to get him a companion. The problem is that we have become so spoiled by the wonderfulness that is Puddin', that any other pup will have very large (small?) shoes to fill. Congrats on your Great Communicator! |

| How cute! Kacee jabbers, too, sometimes by a strange sort of mix between whining, yipping, and a sort of growling noise. She does this when she wants my attention, though, and that's about it! I have a very social yorkie. It seems you have one, too!

| Had to laugh sorry......he sounds like such a cutie but am sure it would be annoying at times too. Kassie yips when she wants something but that is the only time and to be honest sometimes it tries my patience. She wont give it up til she gets what she wants either. Sherri |
