| Yes, everytime I see Yorkie mentioned in a fatal attack, it's in an article defending pit bulls. It almost sounds like propaganda to defend the pit bull and make it sound less threatening, that any dog, even tiny toy breeds, can kill. And there are some loyal pit bull breeders/owners out there, that's what I found out tonight! |

| There are great pit bull owners! But we live near the country and you see them chained out in fields to trees with a swimming pool around here. It is very sad. I guess all breeds can have good and bad owners.

| Our breeder said that if the yorkie were labrador sized it would be forbidden in Denmark. Of course that was a joke, but if you watch their protective behavior I am sure they will not hesitate to throw themselves at anyone who threaten the humans they love or themselves. And since a child can killa grown man with an unfortunate punch to a specific place on the throat, a yorkie could of course kill a man. Remember that dogs will turn out the way their humans treat them and yorkies can be evil vicious dogs when treated the "right" way. ----- *calls out* Kali! Mare! Girls, mommy wants you to sleep in the bathroom from now on, it's much more safe for both of us! LOL

| I think a bigger Yorkie could kill a newborn maybe...there was a mini Doxie in our county that attacked the owners newborn..baby went into shock and nearly died..it face was badly deformed. The newspaper said the Doxie weighted less then 10 pounds.. Fast Eddie, you always come up with interesting posts. |

| Maggie's little puppy fangs can rip the skin, but no deeper. I can see where they could "Break Your Heart", but not kill you.

| Check your expenses at the end of the year. You will have a stroke when you figure out what the little dears have cost you over a year. Ungrateful little brats. Our 11 year old tv has just quit and gone to tv heaven. My son told me that he heard talk of a yorkie picket line in the greatroom cause the Yorkies are having to watch a 20 in. tv. Opps got to go the crowd is chanting" Plasma big Sreen" Could almost swear I hear my son and Hubby's voice in there with the barking. Wnalegria |

| The only way I could possibly see a yorkie causing death to a person would be if it had rabies or something! Of course, I have heard of some pretty big yorkies out there and they can be pretty ferocious at times. That's why I got a little one, can't take any chances with this breed!

| Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | I'd love to hear how big the teeth were on this yorkie - unless someone can die from ankle bites I don't see how it's possible... That's really interesting reading that and I agree it could be a form of propaganda.. YES there are MANY good pitt bull owners - but just too many bad ones that WANT agressive pitts for protection and other reasons - many pitts are not the family pet but the family guard dog which is why we hear of so many attacks... |

| I can see how a yorkie might accidently kill a new born baby. I remember reading a case when a Pom killed a baby. The pom belong to the babies uncle and he left the baby on the sofa after he feed the baby to put the bottle in the sink. When he came back the pom had its teeth in the babies head(via through the babies soft skull). It cause the baby's brain hemorrhage and ultimately the baby died. It was a very sad story. |
